CDA CONDUCTS ORIENTATION ON CAPRIS

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 7 headed by Director Felipe G. Deri conducted the Orientation Seminar on the Preparation of Mandatory Reports of the Authority which was provided by a memorandum signed by Hon. Ray R. Elevazo of Central Office, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines. That was made for the implementation of Web-based Cooperative Annual Progress Report Information System (CAPRIS). The seminar was held at the Multi-purpose Hall, City of Naga, Cebu on March 21, Saturday in cooperation with the city mayor, Hon. Valdemar M. Choiong, the city councillors and Pangdan Multi-purpse Cooperative.
Hon. Rodrigo R. Navarro, the Cooperative Development Center in-charge of the city did welcome participants from different cooperatives in the southern part of Cebu province.
The CDA Regional Director Deri politely delivered his inspirational message emphasizing the implementation of Web-based Cooperative Annual Progress Report Information System (CAPRIS) that according to him CAPR should be electronically submitted by browsing first the CDA website which is http://cda.gov.ph/ and the Authority required the cooperatives to submit other mandatory reports in one (1) hard copy 5 days after they have done the online submission of their CAPR.
CAPR form No. CDA-SEU-FR-003 Revision No. 3 Effectivity Date: February 11, 2015 and other mandatory reports were discussed by the Assistant Regional Director Cipriana C. Mumar.
The online simulation for encoding the necessary data in the CAPRIS was performed by Mrs. Myrna Dellosa, CDA Region 7 Specialist. She reiterated that the simulation and testing of CAPRIS by the cooperatives would start effective on March 21 (on that day) until April 3, 2015 and after which, the Authority would officially launch the online submission of the CAPR on April 6, 2015.
Social Audit Report was further explained by Ms. Milagros Geyrozaga, CDA Region 7 Staff.
